Acceptance of terms
By installing or using the ChromaLens browser extension, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the extension.
License
The ChromaLens source code is licensed under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, and distribute it in accordance with that license, provided you preserve the copyright notice. The ChromaLens name, logo, and brand assets are not covered by the MIT License.
Use of the extension
ChromaLens is provided for legitimate color-picking, palette-extraction, contrast-checking, and accessibility-auditing purposes. You agree not to use the extension to violate any applicable law, infringe third-party rights, or interfere with the operation of websites or services.
No warranty
The extension is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Contrast and accessibility results are informational aids; they do not constitute a guarantee of compliance with WCAG, Section 508, or any other accessibility standard.
Limitation of liability
In no event shall the authors or contributors be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from or in connection with the use of the extension. Your use is at your own risk.
Data and privacy
The extension processes data only on your device. See the Privacy Policy at /privacy for details. Nothing is transmitted to any server.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
